Phenomenological Model of the Kaonic Nuclear Cluster K Pp in the Ground State
A phenomenological model is proposed for the analysis of the properties of the Kaonic Nuclear Cluster (KNC) K−pp (or 2 K̄ H) in its ground state. Inside the KNC 2 K̄ H we describe the relative motion of the protons in the pp pair and the motion of the K−–meson relative to the pp pair in terms of wave functions of 3–dimensional harmonic oscillators. The interaction strength is parameterised in our...
متن کاملPhenomenological model of the Kaonic Nuclear Cluster K−pnn in the ground state
A phenomenological model, proposed for the Kaonic Nuclear Cluster (KNC) K−pp (or 2 K̄ H), is applied to the theoretical analysis of the KNC K−pnn (or S0). The theoretical values of the binding energy and the width are equal to ǫS0 = − 197MeV and ΓS0 = 16MeV. They agree well with the experimental data ǫ S = − 194.0 1.5 − 4.4MeV and Γ exp S < 21MeV (PLB 597, 263 (2004)) and the theoretical values ...

متن کاملA search for deeply bound kaonic nuclear states
We have measured nucleon energy spectra by means of time-of-flight (TOF) from 4He(K stopped, N) reactions (KEK PS E471 experiment). In the proton spectrum, a clear mono-energetic peak was observed under semi-inclusive condition, which was assigned to the formation of a strange tribaryon S(3115) with isospin T = 1. The mass and width of the state were deduced to be 3117.7 −2.0(syst)± 0.9(stat) M...
متن کاملKaonic nuclear systems K̄N and K̄NN as decaying states
The formation spectra of model KN and KNN systems formed by (K(-),n) reactions are investigated in order to obtain a theoretical basis for a proper interpretation of experimental data concerning kaonic nuclear quasi-bound states. It has been clarified that the experimentally observable kaonic nuclear state K(-)pp should be regarded as the decaying state introduced by Kapur-Peierls, which is dif...
